We will use various exercises in this workshop to look at how young people identify and characterise themselves and others. Designed to allow participants to acknowledge and break down their own preconceptions and biases, while learning that we are intrinsically a product of our environment. We will examine to what extent have we internalised stereotypes about ourselves and others. Using poetry, storytelling and images we will explore identity, belonging and faith. All these activities will be interactive and will demonstrate ways in which we falsely build barriers and how we ought to break down them down.
